Title: Director of Nursing – DON

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Long-Term Care

Location: Daleville, VA

Schedule: Full-time, M-F dayshift, rotating on-call every 4 weeks; weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Pay: $90,000 - $140,000 depending on experience. Relocation assistance available if needed plus great benefits!

The DON’s duties to include but not be limited to:

-This position is responsible for the overall assessment and quality of life care of the facility’s residents. The DON would work with all disciplines to provide the highest standard of care for each of the residents in addition to providing leadership and development for team members. This role manages all aspects of direct resident nursing care including oversight of the Plan of Care for each resident and the establishment of nursing standards, objectives, and goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Current Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.

-Directory of Nursing experience highly preferred.

-3 - 5 years of supervisory nursing experience required.

-Experience in Long-Term Care required.

-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

-Currently certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED required.
