Title: Surgical Technologist
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Surgery Center - Urology
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 8a – 5p
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience, plus a full benefits package
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Surgical Technologist will work alongside and assist surgeons, nurses and other members of the health care team throughout a surgical operation. Duties to include but not limited to:
- Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
- Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
- Preparing the patient for surgery
- Passing the surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Surgical Technologist / Technician or OR Technician experience preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist is a plus
- Active BLS Certification
