This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you can make a significant difference in the lives of young patients during times of medical crisis. **Responsibilities:** - Implement infection control procedures to prevent the spread of diseases within the PICU. - Utilize case management skills to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient treatment processes. - Provide specialized care for pediatric patients requiring PICU support. - Perform catheterization procedures when necessary for patient assessment and treatment. - Administer trauma medicine to stabilize pediatric patients with severe injuries or medical emergencies. - Assist in lifting and transferring pediatric patients safely to facilitate medical procedures and examinations. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver primary care services to pediatric patients in critical conditions. - Provide infectious disease care and implement appropriate protocols for containment and treatment. - Conduct physical examinations following established medical standards to assess pediatric patient conditions accurately. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience in trauma medicine or emergency care is preferred. - Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical data accurately. - Ability to adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe healthcare environment. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pediatric patients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Knowledge of standards of care in pediatric emergency medicine and critical care settings.
