Closing Date: 06/16/2024 TITLE: Digital Curriculum Support Specialist I REPORTS TO: Superintendent's Designee SUPERVISES: N/A JOB FUNCTION: Provide Digital Curriculum technical support, training and guidance to School and District users. MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
Increase efficiency and effectiveness of Digital Curriculum System support through improved procedures and training with the department
Increase system availability of Digital Curriculum Systems for teachers and staff
Improve the quality of training provided to school and district staff on the use of Digital Curriculum Systems
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assure adherence to standards relating to applications, programming, job control language, documentation, operation procedures, production activities and FERPA.
Provide Digital Curriculum support, training and guidance to end users.
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system and user issues.
Solve complex problems while prioritizing effectively and efficiently; determine when to escalate issues.
Document user processes and problems to assure effective system utilization by the user.
Serve as a liaison between schools, the district and Digital Curriculum vendors.
Assist and advise in Student Information System (SIS) data extracts to Digital Curriculum Software and Applications.
Participate and interact with team members in all collaborative venues.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate in more than one language or the willingness to learn to communicate in more than one language at the novice level of proficiency.
Maintains regular attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Digital Curriculum System concepts
Advanced principles of computer technology
Technology support procedures
Applications software and data security and integrity procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
