JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the job activities of Data Operations Management. They supervise, direct, control and assist staff to provide efficient bank support and optimal workflow.

Job Type: Full-Time; 40 hours per week; Overtime as required

Shift: Monday – Friday; Weekends as required

Location: Swansea Data Center; 2610 N. Illinois

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:

1. Responsible for day-to-day operations.
2. Research current developments in banking through reading and formal education
3. Perform operational duties, as needed, including backing up all areas within the data center
4. Establish data processing priorities, schedules, assign work to and train operations staff
5. Train, coach, counsel and provide general direction and guidance to other staff members
6. Assist in development and implementation of new bank products and services
7. Handle more difficult, complex system problems and requests from bank staff
8. Load and test new software
9. Direct cash management activities through design, development and customer service
10. Review and implement procedural changes as needed
11. Other duties as assigned by management

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, preferred but not required
• 1-2 years banking industry experience
• 2 years management experience, preferred but not required
• Excellent communication: oral, written, listening and presentation
• Motivated self-starter
• Detail-orientated and highly organized
• Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
• Quickly and proficiently comprehend new information
• Ability to focus on key priorities and thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of:

a. bank operations

b. relevant federal and state laws and requirements

c. bank products and services

d. bank data processing/backroom functions

e. computer system and office equipment
