FCB NY is looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the FCB New York New Business team as a Presentation Designer. You will participate, learn, and grow working with some of the best in the business. As a Presentation Designer at FCB, you will sit at the very center of our creative universe, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our most important messages. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the best minds in the business, both creatively and strategically. You'll work closely with top-tier creative, account, and strategists, gaining invaluable insights and expertise. This dynamic role not only allows you to showcase your design talents but also to learn and grow within an environment that fosters innovation and excellence. Whether it's presentation decks or marketing communication materials, everything is thoughtfully designed to be clear, compelling, and memorable.
Essential Functions
- Design new business presentations and marketing comms collateral.
- Partner with creatives, strategists, business leaders, comms teams, finance people, and other designers to ensure the highest-quality presentations and collateral.
- Must be an expert in creating cutting-edge, well-executed new business presentations, creative print, digital layouts, infographics, etc.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with Project Management and Creative Production teams that foster collaboration.
- Partner with accounts and creatives in the development of executions.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to client brand guidelines, style guides, and templates. Proactively seek to stay ahead of trends, market developments, technology, and creative & business opportunities.
- Deliver award-winning (and award-worthy) work that inspires and generates measurable business returns for the agency.
- Show team commitment, pride, and, most importantly, trust to facilitate cooperation and motivation among staff to accomplish our goals.
- Think and act proactively. Be a problem solver, not a problem finder.
- Bachelor's Degree in art, design, and/or visual communication preferred.
- 3-5 years of design, storytelling, and expertly producing new business presentation design experience.
- Proven understanding of composition, typography, and layouts.
- Proven history of fostering positive professional relationships.
- Ability to work effectively with C-suite executives.
- Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deliver before deadlines
- Production skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, shifting deadlines, and fluid priorities.
- Resilience and ability to help the team stay motivated through challenging timelines and changes in client direction.
- Relentless eye for detail.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Apple iWork, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven work experience within a new business design role.
- FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday. However, New Business may demand in-office presence when required for a pitch.
