To promote and drive the organization's public visibility, while engaging local community members and shining the spotlight on our Agency Mission.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalency.
  • Knowledge of the programs and services FCC Behavioral Health offers to its local communities.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for our organization's mission and values.
  • Ability to handle sensitive topics with tact and empathy.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

Core Job Duties

  • Plan, manage, and oversee our social media accounts to ensure a consistent, positive image of our organization. Generate and share engaging content.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with local community members and stakeholders.
  • Design, order, and distribute FCCBH promotional items.
  • Assist program teams with an effective marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage the production of the annual report, outlining the successes and challenges faced during the year and highlighting our organization's impact.
  • Identify and develop organizational marketing and advertisement.
  • Maintains awareness regarding the agency’s vision and effectively communicates to the public.
  • Promote various FCCBH projects and initiatives to staff and other stakeholders.
  • Primary media relations point of contact for FCCBH.
  • Represents the agency in a caring, professional manner to stakeholders and the local communities.
  • Ability to effectively promote FCCBH’s Corporate image with media across our service area.
  • Oversee and manage the organization's monthly Newsletter.
  • Ability to interact with and relate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to listen to others to facilitate an open exchange of ideas and provide for effective communication.
  • Oversee and manage fccinc.org, as the primary contact for external contact us and website.
  • Develop and manage community fundraisers and events.
  • Manage organizational flyers, brochures, and agency logos.
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. 
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
