What You'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring program compliance and performing other operational processes for multiple grants and advances awarded through the Bank's Community Investment programs. You'll also assist in optimizing processes and developing tools to streamline existing processes within the department. In addition you'll help with report building and creation.
How you'll make an impact:
  • You will support our community lending initiatives to promote economic development and community revitalization within our district.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues around the Bank to efficiently process transactions for customers.
  • You will support customers in the use of grant products that strengthen partnerships and foster diversity.
What you can expect:
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of awarded grants to ensure progress and compliance according to regulations, program policy, guidelines and procedures
  • Provide quality customer service and technical assistance to program users, including guidance for submitting requests, supporting documentation, and ongoing certifications and/or reporting.
  • Analyze and track grant performance and impact data process; track disbursements of awarded funds.
  • Manage multiple program responsibilities concurrently to provide timely responses to program users' needs.
  • Build and maintain tools to create efficiencies around existing processes and procedures
  • Analyze awarded grants to determine eligibility, compliance and impact
  • Assist in building reports for the team utilizing SQL, Excel and Tableau
What you'll bring:
  • 0-2 years experience in banking, housing finance, or economic development.
  • Previous experience with administration of federally funded grants allocated for the purpose of affordable housing, community, and/or economic development is a plus.
  • One to three years experience with direct customer interaction
  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related area.
  • Experience building queries using Access/Tableau/SQL
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Salesforce knowledge a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, can analyze and aggregate large amounts of data for management, in some cases creating presentations with that data
  • Cultivates strong relationships, can work across teams and departments
  • Independent problem solver
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communications and ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Self-starter who also works well on a team
  • Exceptional personal management, organizational and problem solving skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables simultaneously
