CompanyFederal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking for a Finance Analyst III/IV to leverage their financial and analytical experience to support leadership in improving the overall business function of the Technology Division. In this role, you will provide recommendations to optimize financial accountability and fiscal stewardship, perform analysis in support of budget activities, ensure accuracy of data in systems of record, and support Technology Division personnel processes, such as position management, semi-annual promotion coordination, and merit and variable pay utilization. Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office at least two days per week for meetings and team collaboration, unless directed otherwise by your supervisor Responsibilities:
Utilize a variety of software systems and applications to analyze complex financial information, business plans, reports, and projections.
Perform routine to complex data analysis to produce business information used to support decision-making.
Conduct and document complex financial, budget, or business analysis projects.
Conduct research and analysis on technology spend, including hardware and software utilization, to provide management with definitive decision-making data and advice.
Prepare and/or revise communications, including proposals, reports, and presentations for all levels of management.
Lead and/or coordinate complex projects related to department process coordination, operations improvements, annual business budget preparation, project expense analysis, and/or other special projects.
Monitor and verify IT compliance with applicable new and existing policies, procedures, and standards.
To be considered for a Financial Analyst III position you must meet one of the following educational and years of experience:
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
Master's degree in a related field, and minimum 2 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
Associate degree and 6 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
HS diploma and 8 years of financial analysis or related experience.
To be considered for a Financial Analyst IV position you must meet one of the following educational and years of experience:
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
Master's degree in a related field, and minimum 4 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
Associate degree and 8 years of financial analysis or related experience OR
HS diploma and 10 years of financial analysis or related experience.
The following experience is applicable at both levels:
Experience with enterprise resource planning, time tracking, and FinOps tools strongly preferred.
Experience with project management, data analytics, and data visualization (i.e. Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) preferred.
Demonstrated strong oral, written, and communication skills.
Full Salary Range:Financial Analyst III: $75,600 - $94,496- $113,400 Annual Financial Analyst IV: $87,300 - $109,083 - $130,900 Annual Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
