Landers Kia is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team at our shop in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a full-time, hourly position with a flexible schedule and competitive pay. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers. This is an individual contributor role, and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cars.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and transmission work
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Communicate directly with customers to explain vehicle diagnosis and repair recommendations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proficient in using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have own tools
