FedWriters is Hiring a Project Manager Near Fort Worth, TX

Overview

FedWriters, recognized as a 2024 Top Workplace by the Washington Post, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) with comprehensive assessment, restructuring, and optimization of the Bureau’s current Records and Information (RIM) program.

Responsibilities

This position has a hybrid work schedule with 50% onsite and 50% remote work. Candidates must be local to either the Washington, DC or Fort Worth, TX areas.

  • Must have experience with RIM projects by implementing technical solutions, including software installation, configuration, and associated documentation as the primary contact for the government.
  • Record-keeping, organization, handling, storage, retrieval, and destruction of records by adhering to internal policies and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidance and requirements.
  • Reviews, synthesizes, and prepares highly technical, sensitive, and complex documents, briefing materials, management directives and correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 8 years of related experience with 7 years project management experience focusing on RIM projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Purview Records Management or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of NARA guidelines and requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP certification is required.
