The Marketing team at Feedonomics

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, seasoned Field Marketing Manager to lead our events strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be a creative, strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving successful global field marketing programs. The right candidate will have a strong passion for identifying unique ideas and transforming them into innovative virtual and live immersive brand experiences.

In this role, you’ll report directly to our Director of Demand Generation, and work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to help propel our events to new heights.

The Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and lead impactful Global field marketing programs which design unique experiences - online and offline - to build awareness of the Feedonomics brand, products and services and generate demand as well as lead volume

  • Develop, manage, and fully execute the strategy for major events including but not limited to: industry trade shows, vertical events, customer events, hosted partner events, virtual and occasional internal events filling the top of the funnel with net new leads that fall within the ideal customer profile (ICP)

  • Generateout of the box creative ideas to draw attention at events attracting net new customers while maintaining and engaging current partners

  • Present and facilitate conversations with Senior Leaders on event strategy, performance, and key metric expectations

  • Own the post-event process, completing debrief meetings, communicating event performance and overseeing sales outreach through to deal stage

  • Build collaborative relationships and continuously engage with Feedonomics stakeholders such as Product Marketing and Sales on earned and owned speaking opportunities and to develop content to promote events through social media and email campaigns

  • Analyze event success using metrics such as lead generation, pipeline progression, brand awareness, partner engagement and recruitment, top line revenue collected through sponsorships and Sales & Marketing stakeholder feedback to improve future events

  • Proactively manage the events budget and make sound financial decisions on programs that generate effective ROI

  • Research and identify future events that align with our overall strategy gathering feedback from sales, partner organizations, marketing stakeholders etc. to support broader company vision

  • Partner with BigCommerce to collaborate on key events including trade shows, webinars, Facebook live events and more

  • Create annual event budgets, track expenses to manage overall budget reconciliation process; contracts, and PO

  • Continue to build on programs to make a bigger impact as well as improve processes related to events and event management

  • 50% travel required both domestic and internationally 

The Requirements

  • 7 years of B2B field marketing and events experience including experience with trade shows/conferences and virtual events/webinars, partner and customer marketing events 

  • Data-driven marketer with a creative mindset with experience working in the B2B space & Saas Solution Company

  • Experience promoting offline and online events to drive attendance through social media, earned media, email, geo fencing and other tactics

  • Experience working with cross-functional groups and executive leadership

  • Proven experience Identifying and securing internal and external speakers, coordinating platform logistics, collaborating with partner teams on graphics and other needs

  • Experience with trade shows in the ecom sector including NRF, IRCE, eTail, Shoptalk and more.

  • Ability to think strategically and not overlook details 

  • Ability to work with autonomy and ambiguity

  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and proactive. You are a self-starter with a ‘get it done’ attitude and excitement to learn new skills. You enjoy working hard, are full of energy for challenges, and seize opportunities more than others

  • You have excellent collaborative skills. You have a true team mentality (your work requires collaboration with partners across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and much more) and demonstrated success working cross-functionally in larger organizations, and have the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners

  • You have out-of-this-world project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects flawlessly under tight project deadlines without much supervision. Furthermore, you excel at prioritization and know what to measure and how to measure it

  • You have incredible interpersonal skills that enable you to thrive in multicultural settings and adapt seamlessly to various social dynamics. 

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and relationship skills are critical both working with people internally and externally

  • Take initiative with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to write copy to help promote events

  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent working experience

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range (or have the minimum apply to them), but rather, the exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.Targeted salary range: $81,949.52—$138,591.10 USD
