What You'll DoThis is an outdoor job, so it's important you like all types of weather, we should mention the workweek will exceed 40 hours, especially during construction season. We'll count on you to:
  • Complete hands-on field and office work to help the firm advance projects.
  • Collecting topographic survey data.
  • Set up and maintain project survey control.
  • Complete construction layouts and boundary field surveys.
  • Help with construction observation to make sure plans are followed.
  • Maintain field and office equipment.
  • Develop leadership skills that build autonomy.
What It TakesAn associate degree in Survey Engineering Technology or Engineering Technology is a plus, but it is not required. We're looking for someone with some professional experience, but if you are a recent grad, eager to learn and motivated, we are interested. Ideally, you will also:
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Speak and write well.
  • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.
