Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to join our team!

In this critical role, the Project Manager will be key member of our Project Management team - responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work collaboratively with the design team, project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution. You will possess a strong understanding of the design-build process and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

What you will be doing:

• Estimating: Develop accurate and competitive project estimates. Collaborate with design and construction teams to optimize project costs.

· Budgeting: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets. Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.

· Scheduling : Create a detailed construction schedule and track progress.

· Design : Work with the design team to resolve issues and ensure project requirements are met.

· Negotiations : Negotiate contracts and subcontracts with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Documentation: Oversee the preparation of all construction documents, including plans, specifications, contracts, progress reports, and schedule. 

· Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to address emerging issues.

• Construction Management: Direct and manage the project ensuring it stays on budget and schedule. Maintain open communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Resolve project conflicts and issues in a timely manner.
• Post-Construction: Conduct project closeout procedures, including final inspections and documentation. Obtain final project approvals and permits. Manage warranty and maintenance issues.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field – Preferred.
• Proven experience in construction management, specifically design build delivery, with a minimum of 5 years leading projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability manage complex construction projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficiency in project management software, specifically; Procore, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, Safe 300, Timeberline, and Bluebeam.
