The Nursing Supervisor/Wellness Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and ensuring the health and well-being of our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the nursing staff in providing high-quality care to residents
Coordinate and oversee resident care plans, medication administration, and treatments
Conduct assessments and evaluations of residents' health status and needs
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
Monitor and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Provide education and training to staff members on nursing protocols and best practices
Collaborate with other departments and community resources to support resident wellness
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and community policies
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an assisted living or long term care setting
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technol
