Fenimore Kay Harrison has an opening for a Corporate Paralegal in their Kansas City office.

Duties for this position will include preparing and submitting corporate, regulatory and compliance filings, preparing and distributing correspondence, managing and archiving various corporate documents, assisting the attorneys in reviewing, editing and drafting routine legal documents, processing of invoices and expenses, and handling electronic filings. Prior paralegal experience is not required. However, prior legal experience is required.

A strong candidate should have superior technology skills in Microsoft office suite (Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat. The candidate must have the ability to operate independently in various project management and problem-solving roles for attorneys across the firm. A strong candidate should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects, as well as efficiently learn new systems and technology.

Fenimore Kay Harrison offers a very competitive salary that will be commensurate with experience.

In addition, the firm offers paid health, dental, STD/LTD, and life insurance for the employee (dependent(s)’ premiums are the responsibility of the employee). In addition, the firm offers 11 bank holidays, Paid Time Off, 401(k) matching and profit sharing, HSA/FSA, 7.5 hours workdays, and flexible hours in a business casual and friendly environment.
