FBFK is looking to hire a full-time Junior Paralegal to support its Corporate and Transactional attorneys in its Plano office.

Education and Experience

• Minimum college degree or associate’s degree in paralegal studies

• 2-3 years previous experience working in a legal environment or as a legal assistant

• Experience with interacting with Secretary of State offices and filings and coordinating organizational document and UCC filings is not required, but it is a plus

Computer Skills

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Microsoft Word: Advanced word processing skills, including advanced formatting, document creation and editing, templates, macros, automatic numbering and styles, table of contents, etc.

• Microsoft Excel: Familiarity with spreadsheet creation and manipulation

• Microsoft PowerPoint: Proficiency in presentation creation and editing with effective use of visuals and text

• Familiarity with LMS a plus

Other Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and consistency

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and work with multiple attorneys
