Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Cabinetry Showroom Consultant. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you! Schedule: M - F 7:30am - 5pm Responsibilities: Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and professional remodelers, to assist in the selection of kitchen and bath cabinetry and countertops Assist with design options and color selections Cabinetry design and estimating per company standards Work continuously toward improving client selection process Prepare job quotations and submittals Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while using suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field Client Relationship Management Manage Leads and Estimates within master product file Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior sales experience in the kitchen and bath industry preferred Prior experience with cabinetry Proficient with Microsoft Excel Experienced in 20/20 Design software and/or CAD Demonstrated ability to learn software programs quickly based on previous performance or experience Problem solving, leadership and listening skills Interpersonal and time management skills The ability to take care of a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge Product and vendor knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn it) Outstanding attention to detail Must demonstrate initiative Ability to work independently Ability to optimally prioritize daily activities Standout colleague Strong verbal and written communications skills Must have excellent customer relations skills This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
