- Fabricate custom commercial and residential rectangular duct work with various types of connections and filters
- Forming, burning, knockdown, cutting, shearing, drilling, shaping, and assembling sheet metal
- Calculate time and material usage per customer job orders
- Inspect work output and quality
- Perform custom welding as needed
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
- 3-5 years of prior sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred
- Experience and training in operating sheet metal machinery is highly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists
- Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high standards of safety at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated, dependable, and punctual
- Possess the ability to multi-task and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally
- Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand
- Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment
- Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment
