JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

If you like to work outside, operate equipment, roll up your sleeves and work with your hands, this job is for you! The Pipe Yard job family manages the storage, transport and distribution of equipment, materials and products sold and produced by the organization.

General areas of responsibility include receiving supplier shipments; picking customer orders; shipping, transportation and delivery of materials and customer orders;

and inventory organization, management and control.

JOB DUTIES :

• Keep all pick locations replenished for picking and stock rotation.
• Accurately picks orders in the sequence that the RF gun provides.
• Accurately receive and put away all material that will go into the copper area and receive them in WMS.
• Coordinates the reorganization and reconfiguration of the copper area, with assistance.
• Using an overhead crane to pick / unload while in the copper area.
• Will use an LP forklift to unload / pick less then 50% of the time.
• Ensure associates operate powered industrial equipment according to Safety Operating Guidelines and FEI Safety Policies.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS :

• Ability to organize and prioritize work in a timely manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally.
• Ability to work with computers, tablets and mobile devices (RF guns).
• Basic knowledge of a WMS system.
• Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to meet required productivity standards.

Ability to safely operate equipment such as overhead crane, picker and LP forklift.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
• Exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings.
• Requires effectively giving and / or receiving verbal communication.
• Requires effectively giving and / or receiving written communication.
• Requires frequent walking, stooping, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, standing, lifting, driving, reaching, gripping and climbing for at minimum 8 hours a day.

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Constantly requires carrying objects 50lbs by hand into a cart.
• Frequently requires carrying / lifting objects 115lbs into a cart with assist.
• Occasionally requires carrying / lifting objects 190lbs into a cart with assist.
• Frequently pushing / pulling loaded carts.

Objects over 100 lbs require team lift or equipment assisted

Pay Range : $15.00 - $26.17

$15.00 - $26.17

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
