What will your day look like?

Financial Management:

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

Month-End Close:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and providing recommendations.

Internal Controls:

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Who are you?

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
