their next Buyer/Planner.

Location: Hybrid with 2 days remote work

Compensation: $65k-$80k

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift

What will your day look like?

As a Buyer:

• Create and manage purchase orders, including pricing, quantities, supplier on-time delivery, and expedites.

• Balance goods receipts with demand requirements to ensure healthy cash flow.

• Send out RFQs and negotiate with vendors.

• Manage vendor relationships and supply base, including spend power, RTVs, and vendor consolidation.

• Find ways to mitigate price increases and meet cost savings goals.

• Maintain a high level of MRP health.

• Maintain source lists in accordance with AVL and the vendor approval process.

• Manage safety stocks, lead times, and other MRP parameters related to managed commodities.

As a Planner:

• Create and maintain a production schedule, considering capacity and material availability.

• Work with the Production team to ensure healthy WIP flow and strive for OTD improvements.

• Manage on-time production order releases, aged WIP, and WIP counts per work center.

• Investigate and reconcile production order variances.

• Assist in determining production priorities to achieve monthly revenue goals.

• Manage safety stocks, lead times, and other MRP parameters related to managed commodities.

• Maintain a high level of MRP health.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Five to seven years of experience in Supply Chain Management (ideally as a Production Buyer or Planner).

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Achievement of APICS certifications.

• Experience with SAP/ERP systems.

• Knowledge of inventory management principles.

• Leadership potential.
