Customer Service and Sales Specialist
Department: Sales and Marketing_ Reports To:_ Customer Service/Marketing Manager
Purpose of Position: The Customer Service and Sales Specialist provides essential support to sales operations for the custom manufacturing services division. The primary purpose of this role is to be the internal contact for sales in managing customer needs and requirements. The CSSS maintains ongoing rapport with contacts at assigned accounts while serving as a “voice of the customer” to Ferriot manufacturing and other functional areas.
Job Duties:
· Participate in and oversee all aspects of customer records and order management including price verification, order entry and confirmation, shipment logistics, product complaints and disposition of returned materials.
· Work with Sales Account Managers to satisfy assigned customer accounts.
· Coordinate with Buyer/Planner/Scheduler/Shipping to fulfill customer orders.
· Assist in creating responses to special Requests For Proposal (RFP).
· Manage disposition and/or removal of customer tooling and property as required.
· Communicate daily with customer contacts via phone, email and messaging.
· Respond to and direct all incoming phone calls.
· Participate in internal and customer meetings as needed.
· Analyze, document and generate customer related information and reports.
· Become familiar with Customer Supply Agreements, proactively notifying appropriate personnel when issues or conflicts arise.
· Back up other department team members as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:Business Degree preferred along with 3-5 years related experience.
Skills: Proficient communicating in English both verbally and in writing.
Able to contribute effectively individually and as part of a team.
Customer-focused attitude to build/maintain good rapport with clients.
Able to interact with computer systems, processes and business functions.
Maintain a professional attitude through changing priorities/challenges.
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in Customer Service (manufacturing or building products a plus).
Background in order entry and management.
Experience with an ERP System (DelmiaWorks/iQMS strongly preferred).
Comfortable using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Able to problem solve and use independent judgment dealing directly with customers.
Attendance: Regular hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Must be in attendance on a regularly scheduled basis and conform to all Company Attendance Policies. Opportunity for a remote work schedule after six months. This job may require occasional overtime work either during the workweek or on weekends.
Status: Full-time Salary Exempt, this is an “at will” position.

Pay: $550.00 - $775.00 per week
