Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As our Deli Hot Bar Cook, you will:

  • Guest Services: Provide excellent service to our guests by assisting them with finding items, taking special requests, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the hot bar is ready for guests by 10 am, refilling and condensing items as needed, and maintaining fresh and rotated food.
  • Cleanliness: Keep the entire hot bar clean and organized, frequently wiping down counters and ensuring the area looks presentable.
  • Preparation: Perform all prep work for the hot bar, including frying chicken, boiling soups, utilizing the fryer, and preparing items for the night shift and the next day.
  • Communication: Coordinate with the night shift hot bar team to convey cooking instructions and manage food inventory.
  • Food Safety: Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
  • Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
  • Support the Team: Other duties as assigned

  • Safety Awareness: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
  • Food Knowledge: Knowledge of perishable food and proper training on equipment such as slicers, dishwashers, ovens, fryers, and more.
  • Motivation: Ability to work at a fast pace, multitask, and stay self-motivated in a busy environment.

Schedule:

The Deli Hot Bar Cook position can be part-time or full-time. The work schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
