Feuerwehr Aitrach is Hiring a Maintenance Director Near Fairfield, IA
- Responsible for the safety, security, and general maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds
- Performs tasks / duties as assigned, including but not limited to installations, repairs, and routine maintenance involving: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), drywall, painting.
- Ensures all OSHA, fire safety, and other regulatory standards are followed at all times
- Inspect buildings and grounds regularly for compliance with local, state, and federal codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of inspections, work performed, and costs.
- Interact appropriately with residents and families and staff
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to take on-call, coordinating with Maintenance Technician during off hours for repairs if needed or facility emergencies
- Participate in Hazards Vulnerability Assessment and Emergency Prepardness
- Attend facility meetings such as QAPI, safety commitee
- Coordinate and supervise work of contractors & vendors
