Position: MedSurg/Tele Nurse
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Austin, TX
Shift: Nights 1900-0730
Department: Medical Surgical
Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
- Perform patient assessments and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate with healthcare team.
- Document patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
- Adhere to certifications, and RN license requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care.
- Utilize premium skills such as critical care experience and cardiac catheterization when necessary.
- Demonstrate proficiency in core skills like catheterization, IV insertion, and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid TX RN license- compact allowed
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg/Tele nursing experience
• BLS Certification (current)
• NIHSS certification (current)
• Covid Card (no exemptions allowed)
• Updated Resume
• Compassionate bedside manner and a commitment to patient-centered care
