Job Description:

The Talent Development and Learning (TD&L) group has an opening for a Director, Agile Learning Delivery. A successful candidate will support in-person and virtual delivery of enterprise-wide training to support Agile certification and Product Management needs of the enterprise.

This role will work in a collaborative team environment and deliver programs and classes across all business units. A strong background in Agile Learning, Leadership, Product, and Coaching is needed.

The Role

The primary focus of this role is to support the TD&L group’s learning priorities in a training environment. Outside the classroom the Director will plan for upcoming deliveries, communicate with participants, and consult with learning partners. The role is seen as a Leader inside and outside our organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5 experience in a Learning and Development environment, specifically in delivery of content.
  • Proven track record of helping teams & organizations improve performance and achieve organizational agility. Real world product experience is a plus.
  • Must meet Agile credentialing body’s good standing policy.
  • Credentialed Registered Scrum Trainer.
  • Credentialed to deliver Registered Scrum Master, Registered Product Owner, Registered Scrum Master@Scale, Registered Product Owner@Scale.
  • Prior experience coaching and developing people in a one-on-one setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalate experience.
  • The ability to deliver and present programs that are considered “best in class in our industry”
  • Mastery of Zoom functionally
  • Adaptability to new technology as we continue to evolve our strategy
  • Outstanding communication skills, organization, accuracy, and detail orientate will be on
  • Proficiency with MS Office is needed and working knowledge of SumTotal
  • Ability to interact credibly with all Fidelity associates, from the entry level to the C-suite
  • The ability to model the process and execution for giving and receiving feedback at Fidelity
  • Be an effective and collaborative team player

  • Enabling groups of Fidelity associates to acquire Agile credentials and the related critical skills to help them acclimate to their new role or help them develop necessary skills to find their new role.
  • Enabling groups of Fidelity associates to upskill in the critical area of Product Management.
  • Facilitating discussions that allow groups of people to adapt their skills in an always changing environment and to better understand the Agile environment across the enterprise.
  • Deliver the business knowledge needed to grow Fidelity’s next wave of Leaders.

  • Communicates clearly and appropriately with peers and business partners by articulating Fidelity’s views and ideas while adjusting communication style to meet a variety of personality styles
  • Cultivates relationships in and out of the department to build an informal network of people who can provide information and support needed to complete project tasks and demonstrates a dedication to team goals
  • Supports business decisions, raises issues when quality standards do not agree with business goals and knows when to follow and when to lead in making business decisions.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
