Our Product Area, Research Solutions, is a space tasked with ensuring our Investment Professionals have the technological firepower to keep abreast of the latest developments in the markets and provide the means to share those insights effectively across our portfolio construction process.
We build capabilities to allow our analysts to publish research on companies and issuers, providing a means for our Portfolio Managers and Investors to receive actionable intelligence with which to construct their funds and portfolios, and generate alpha.
The Principal Systems Analyst will be responsible for analysis of the current and new business and technical processes, identifying system interfaces and dependencies, and documenting process and system flows. You will help us analyze and reverse-engineer existing and new applications, translate their functions and help build clear technical specifications. Asset Management is already 100% on the cloud, leveraging the latest in technology, and ideal place to further enhance your career in a dynamic and highly visible space. Our product area is nimble with a very high-profile user base, and you WILL have the opportunity to make a difference.
You will collaborate extensively with the squads within the domain as well as across business and technology teams that we interface with. The analyst will consult with other business and technical partners to make system assessments, identify dependencies, and help with the sequencing of work. You will need to gain deep understanding of the existing applications and business processes to evolve our platform with the latest technology has to offer.
You will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community. We are looking for someone with a passion for releasing high quality software products that wow our users through Agile software development practices.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
