Job Description:

The Enterprise Workforce Planning team comprises a mix of analytical and strategic resources that collaborate to provide data-driven insights about Fidelity’s workforce and talent markets and facilitates processes with Business Unit partners to drive talent and real estate decision making.

The Role

As (Manager) Senior Manager Enterprise Workforce Planning, you will have a significant role to help maximize the value the team provides to Business Unit partners across the firm. You will play a key role in helping define, develop, and operationalize an integrated workforce planning capability for the enterprise. You will frame and answer key strategic questions for Workforce Planning and help to drive decisions regarding talent and location strategy at a Business Unit and Enterprise level.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform workforce planning analytics and industry benchmarking using data from internal proprietary planning systems, and specialized external industry sources, with an aim to identify current state, gaps, and areas of opportunity.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct strategic mapping between existing enterprise location footprints and current/future talent needs through labor market assessment studies and data analytics, with focus on talent availability/pipeline, diversity & inclusion, and cost of labor.
  • Perform talent gap analysis for strategic roles and/or skills, develop and socialize strategies to bridge talent gaps and oversee implementation/execution of recommended strategies by partnering with key stakeholders across the firm.
  • Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables to communicate workforce planning strategies, insights and recommendations to Talent and Business leaders.
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and meeting project deadlines.
  • Develop key relationships, both internally and externally, with parties such as business leadership, Finance, HR, and Fidelity Real Estate Company.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5-7 years of strategy and planning, consulting, and/or relevant project and program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a proven track record of turning data into actionable insights to support executive decision-making
  • You enjoy distilling industry data into insightful intelligence and answering the question “what does this mean for our business?”
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with outstanding work quality
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, balance multiple demands and thrive in a project-based, reciprocal team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to “tell the story” and communicate concisely and impactfully to senior audiences
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Experience in working with analytical tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI etc.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
