Job Description:

Fidelity is embarking on a multi-year journey to modernize and unify our Marketing and Communication Technology capabilities across Fidelity! We believe this initiative will transform Fidelity into a customer-backed, data-driven, digital-first, and efficient Modern Marketer and Communicator that delivers tangible customer and business value.

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Technology who will join the Marketing Technology Product group and contribute to the modernization, management, efficiency, and adoption of our capabilities. The Senior Manager will join forces with the Group Product/Squad Lead, Squad/Product Leaders, Scrum Master, Engineers, Architect, and internal customers/partners to ensure our marketing and capability objectives are realized.

The Role

  • Develop and demonstrate expertise for Marketing & Communication Technology capabilities, including gaining deep familiarity as a Marketing or Communication user of the capability as applicable. Focus areas will encompass:
    • Modernization of communication delivery capabilities supporting Service and Regulatory Communications into a cloud native platform
    • Partnering with communication owners to shift existing integration and communication templates to new platform
  • Ability to interpret new requests and determine business value to inform priorities
  • Serve as a key participant in our team-based agile implementation lifecycle: actively participate in agile routines to monitor progress; clarify epics and stories; coordinate acceptance/release delivery with stakeholders. 
  • Partner with the Program Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to maintain an accurate view of the work and a product backlog using Jira based tools. 
  • Partner with Software Engineering counterparts on solution design. 
  • Ability to effectively headline, present and articulate the work, and present complicated concepts/problems with resolutions to various audiences. 
  • Identify gaps, risks or opportunities and collaborate with group members and partners to address. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • You bring 6-8 years of overall experience in Marketing, Communication, or Digital Solution space
  • Experience with business analysis and/or product management in an agile environment, including working collaboratively to discover and propose relevant solution objectives, requirements, epics, stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Understand architectural underpinnings of the solution, solution integrations, how data threads through the platforms and can engage in conversations with Engineering and other partners.
  • Play key roles in complex projects or lead small projects independently by using agile methodology
  • Strong interpersonal (written/verbal) and facilitation skills
  • Strong collaborative and relationship building work style – you can set a positive weather in a team setting
  • You are intellectually curious and are a continuous learner keeping abreast of new technologies and trends
  • Experience in Marketing and Communications Solutions
  • Prior marketing technology experience in Financial, Insurance or, Healthcare, would be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) required.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
