Job Description:

The Role

Every day, Fidelity helps hundreds of Financial Advisors and Institutions with complex and difficult decisions they make on behalf of their customers. As the Head of the DCIO Sales team you will lead a team of Defined Contribution Investment Specialists who provide our clients (Retirement Specialist Advisors/Consultants and Record Keepers) with clarity and confidence regarding investment solutions for their end clients. 

  • Develop and drive the execution of the Advisor DCIO channel sales strategy in the context of the broader FI and Fidelity retirement strategy.

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of field-based DC Investment Specialists

  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships across key Fidelity Distribution partners.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive sales leadership of leading record keepers and DC Specialist firms.

  • Achieve key performance indicators: Business development, Client Satisfaction, Associate Retention and Growth, and Operational Effectiveness

  • Build and maintain a culture of high performance where associates are obsessed with clients and growing our business with them and where Fidelity continues to be distinguished as a market leader.

We’re looking for a leader who thrives on:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Series 7 and 63 required

  • CIMA or CFA desired

  • Demonstrated sales/business development and relationship management skills.

  • Domain expertise in defined contribution space and exceptional investment acumen

  • Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and media.

  • Exceptional skills and/or ability in people leadership

  • Strong collaboration, partnership, influence, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Track record of building high performing diverse teams

  • Requires extensive travel (50%)
