Job Description:

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Wealth Solutions, this leader will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will partner across key partners within Fidelity Wealth and across the enterprise. Fidelity Wealth is a business with a focused mandate to grow and scale, while finding new ways to benefit from our partnership with Workplace and Brokerage, where we have a unique competitive edge. The Financial Planning & Advice team delivers the planning services used by nearly 8 million customers across multiple business units including Wealth, Brokerage, and Workplace.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 15 years of business leadership experience

  • Bachelor degree required; advanced degree in Business or related field a plus

  • CFP a plus

  • FINRA series 7, 24 and 99 required (can be obtained within 90 days of starting role)

  • Extensive Planning and/or Wealth Management experience required; plus the passion to help our customers lead the lives they desire with Fidelity as a guide along the way

  • Consistent record of collaboration across business areas aligning on a common visiting to improve customer outcomes

  • Senior-level experience developing Planning & Advice capability strategies aligned with and in support of the strategic direction of the business and leading cross-functional and cross-business unit teams to execute those strategies

  • You are a results driven leader obsessed with improving customer outcomes through industry leading planning & advice capabilities

  • You have an expert-level ability to build collaborative relationships and influence at all levels within and across the organization with the proven ability and passion to help customers realize their financial goals

  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to effectively structure and deliver presentations, champion recommendations, and influence decisions at all levels of management.

Develop and deliver planning strategies that drive financial success to millions of customers across Fidelity Wealth, Fidelity Brokerage and Workplace with easy-to-use, easy-to-understand, and engaging digital solutions and experiences.

Deepen Planning Engagements for customers across the Wealth Spectrum with a focus on development, retention, and building generational relationships

Through planning engagements, increase solution adoption by customers to optimize their financial success while increasing revenue flows to the business

Partnering with key leaders across Fidelity, establish new and innovative planning capabilities to solve for evolving customer needs across multiple channels and businesses ensuring every customer has a plan in place to help them achieve their goals

Blending deep understanding of the technical platform capabilities, underlying methodology tools with exceptional business and planning acumen, work to ensure state of the art planning capabilities to help customers


The Team

The Wealth Solutions business operates with the vision of helping more customers achieve their financial goals. To do that, we take a customer first approach to bundle market leading products and services as one offering with a digital first, but advisor backed experience powered by scalable tools and platforms.

You will lead a customer-obsessed team and bring broad executive leadership with an obsession for delivering customer value.

You will partner and collaborate with leaders across Fidelity to address customer and sponsor planning needs across all channels.

You will partner with SAI to implement planning methodologies designed to optimize customer outcomes by deepening adoption of Products, Services and Solutions.

You will define the strategy for the suite of digital and live channel planning services from basic financial wellness for young savers/accumulators to complex planning for High-Net-Worth customers in Private Wealth Management and everyone in between - with a goal of maximizing customer outcomes, deepening engagement and building lifetime relationships.
