Job Description:
Strategic Advisers, Systematic Portfolio Engineering Associate Internship
Strategic Advisers' Systematic Portfolio Engineering team manages client portfolios at scale across a wide range of investment strategies, from separately managed accounts (SMAs) to multi-asset class, multi-registration households. Systematic PE team members configure Fidelity's enterprise software platform and implement robust investment review and trading strategies to ensure competitive risk-adjusted after-tax returns. Mean variance optimization research, investment process efficiencies, and composite analysis are key components in achieving the investment outcome.
Internship Responsibilities

• Using iterative optimizations to manage asset flows
• Dynamic constraint reconciliation
• Simulation of multi-period asset location controls
• Collaborating with other Portfolio Engineering and SAI Research Teams

We seek students with experience in the following:

• R, Python, or Groovy or other programming languages
• Axioma, Northfield, Barra, or other optimizers/risk models
• FactSet, Bloomberg or financial software/data
• SQL, Spotfire, Tableau or other data analysis/BI tools
