**Duties:** - Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses - Develop and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and cold calling - Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options - Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies - Process insurance applications, policy changes, and claims accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions **Experience:** - Previous experience in insurance sales or related field preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance - Strong telemarketing and sales skills - Familiarity with benefits administration and insurance products - Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus - Retail sales experience is beneficial **Skills:** - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to effectively communicate complex insurance concepts to clients - Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships - Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills - Proficient in using computer software for sales administration purposes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
