- Maintain accurate record keeping of work orders
- Ensure machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures and performs regular technical testing
- Execute routine maintenance on machines; replaces or repairs machine belts, rollers, bearings, or other parts; removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste materials from machines; paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion
- Reads and understands electronic and electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ensure projects, tasks and PMs are executed on time
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment/facility items and document in PM program
- Follow all safety policies including lock-out/tag out procedures
- Carry out facilitates maintenance upkeep and grounds work as needed
- Responsible for maintaining facility compliance and inspections to all federal, state, and local laws.
- Notify Maintenance Manager of low equipment and supply inventory levels
- Meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Assist in managing hazardous waste program/chemical storage
- Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain equipment
- On-call services may be required for emergencies and/or lockouts during nights or weekends
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 5 years of experience
- Electro-mechanical experience
- General computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift/move 50lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent
