Job purpose

We are hiring a dedicated, skilled and experienced Operations Manager to provide outstanding leadership and supervision to a small team of technicians who provide a unique mobile service for the micro-filtration of cooking oil and deep cleaning of commercial fryers. We service fryers located in hospitals, stadiums, colleges, restaurants and anywhere deep fryers are found.

The basic function of the Operations Manager position is to efficiently control warehousing and operations by managing personnel and equipment. Be an accessible communications link for employees, management and customers. And to grow incremental revenue by upselling current customers.

The position reports to the General Manager of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Filtration Service Technicians and Filtration Service Supervisors

• Build strong relationships with customers and elevate your team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction

• Ensure all shifts are suitably crewed with sufficient advance planning and rosters are accurately and effectively compiled

• Ensure Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded

• Carry out report writing and follow up, provide information and reports to the Senior Management as required

• Ensure all work records are recorded accurately.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular job-site inspections

• Provide superior service to all internal and external customers

• Maintain a general knowledge of Mobile Filtration Unit(MFU), including basic troubleshooting

• Report any customer changes in management, staff, fryer oil or frying habits back to the executive team

• Establish customer contact and rapport to maintain awareness of customer’s business objectives in conjunction with ongoing account maintenance

• Utilize customer knowledge to develop additional or new opportunities for defined route

• Work closely with Senior Management to develop and implement customer service improvement plans

• Be an active member of the On call team ensuring availability at key times

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work well with people and understand the needs of the employees

• Knowledge of all Filta Services

• Customer service and sales skills

• Ability to learn and stay up to date on the latest service offerings

• The ability to work independently with little or no supervision

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and duties including field services

• Ability to establish and maintain credibility and communicate effectively verbally

• Takes ownership of successful route closing rate in region by monitoring progress and performance targets

• Analyzes and identifies processes that need improvement and/or automation, designs new procedures, and provides guidance to team members regarding the change

• Create written strategic action and business Plans for growth to include customer targets by service

• Responsible for maintaining existing customers and new business growth

• Two years of experience in a field service oriented organization

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
