Position Details:

  • Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Employment Type: Full-time contract (2 positions)
  • Duration: 1 year (potential for extension or permanent position based on performance and business needs)
  • Work Schedule: Hybrid (can be largely remote)
  • Equipment: Computer equipment and necessary software provided

Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a pivotal role in managing data, performing analysis, developing visualizations and dashboards, and supporting both internal and external reporting requirements for Advancement operations. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to streamline data processes, enhance data interpretation, and support key organizational objectives.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (finance, math, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, or related area).
  • 1 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to translate data-driven insights into presentation-ready outputs.
  • Certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) are a plus.

Job Duties:

  • 80% - Data Systems and Analytics:
  • Develop, administer, and manage data decision tools and web applications used in Advancement.
  • Perform analytical and reporting tasks, including building and maintaining visualization reports, dashboards, and complex Excel models.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • 20% - System Administration:
  • Develop and support various web, data management, and visualization applications used in Advancement.
  • Provide coding, administration, and content updates as required.
  • Support data quality maintenance initiatives and act as the Data Steward for the Business Intelligence team.
  • Develop and maintain reports using SQL, Tableau, and other relevant Business Intelligence tools.
