Fine Line Marine Electric, Inc is Hiring a Marine Electrician Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Job DescriptionFine Line Marine Electric is looking for marine electricians for our Fort Lauderdale location. If you are an experienced marine electrician, then Fine Line Marine Electric may be a good fit for you.
We provide electrical services such as marine AC / DC systems to yachts from 50 - 200ft in length. Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills necessary. Work is of the highest standards and meets classification societies requirements, including ABS, Lloyds, and ABYC.
We are offering full-time positions, paid hourly with benefits that include competitive compensation, holiday pay, vacation pay, overtime pay and health insurance.
Ideal candidates would have:
  • Strong working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, shore power, motors and motor controls, industrial logic controls, generators, PLC and PLC programming and switch gear
  • ABYC electrical certification a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blue prints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful or hazardous conditions
  • Proactive problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently complete tasks in a safe manner
  • Ability to work with or without supervision
  • Job requires you to be fit for duty; able to walk, stand, climb, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., reaching, hand/eye coordination and able to work around moving machinery on a moving ship.
  • Provide own tools.
  • English language is necessary.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of electrical experience
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years working on motor vessels
