Finfare is Hiring a Business Development Manager, Finfare Connect Near Irvine, CA

About Finfare

Finfare’s mission is to improve the financial health of SMBs. We are building an intelligent payment platform and banking ecosystem designed to simplify finances via our Finfare charge card product and best-in-class SaaS platform. Finfare Connect is Finfare’s key to open banking technology and card-linked offers. The hub for all our rewards/loyalty platform, offering incentives such as cash back, gift cards, rewards points, and more.

About the Role

Finfare is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sale of Finfare Connect's SaaS products, emphasizing our merchant-funded solutions to large membership-based companies in sectors like Banking, Fintech, fitness apps, national gyms, auto, insurance, and telecom. We are looking for someone with a successful track record with generating new business opportunities, building our customer base, and creating strong, lasting relationships with partners as a trusted resource. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a fintech setting with strong B2B/B2B2C experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a solid pipeline of potential deals.
  • Collaborate with our UK-based team on pre-sales, merchant, marketing, and operational teams to optimize pitches and implementation plans.
  • Implement and refine the US Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy based on field insights.
  • Evaluate leads to ensure they align with our target customer profiles and engage in strategic conversations with prospects to understand their pain points and financial needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Finfare’s solutions.
  • Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media, to generate leads.
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and presentations for qualified leads.
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Sales and customer success teams to support thinking on how best to leverage their scale and unique approaches
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5 years of solution selling experience with a strong network of contacts; ideally in merchant-funded rewards, card-linked offers or loyalty solutions.
  • Ability to proactively engage new clients through various communication channels.
  • A high sense of urgency that can adapt and pivot in various conversation flows.
  • A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and get in on the ground floor of a unicorn startup while launching your career in fintech sales.
  • Demonstrated sales success, leadership, and commercial insight.
  • Experience from fintech is highly preferred.
  • Previous start-up experience is highly preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70k - $85k uncapped commission (depending on experience).
