Finger Lakes Health is Hiring a DIR HUMAN RESOURCES Near Geneva, NY

  • POSITION SUMMARY:
    • Under the supervision and guidance of the Vice President of Human Resources the incumbent will plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate programs and activities related to the Employment function. The incumbent will ensure that the employment function operates consistent with good management practices, in keeping with FLH Mission, Vision and Values. Incumbent will assist Vice President in day to day employee relations issues. Incumbent will also ensure that Employment and Employment related functions are conducted in a manner consistent with, and in accordance with, New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Regulations
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • EDUCATION:
      • Minimum:
        • BS degree in Human Resources or business related field.
      • Preferred: 
        • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • LICENSE:
    • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
      • Preferred:
        • PHR or SPHR Preferred
    • WORK EXPERIENCE:
      • Minimum:
        • 3 years Human Resource experience, including recruitment, basic compensation/benefits, counseling, employee relations and computer systems experience.
        • Supervisory experience.
      • Preferred:
        • Healthcare experience.
    • SKILLS:
      • Minimum:
        • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity, multi-cultural health system.
        • Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
        • Familiarity with JCAHO requirements.
        • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills.
        • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
        • Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point
      • Preferred: 
        • Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point, Halogen, Healthcaresource and Ultipro systems .
