POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Director of Security, operates a Meridian I Telephone System console, performs duties for a 24-hour answering service, paging system, and emergency response center.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Education

Business or Office assistant degree

W ORK EXPERIENCE :

Experience as a switchboard operator

SKILLS :

Minimum :

Requires a sensitive and reassuring approach to patients.

Demonstrated ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner, handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to perform multiple functions during stressful / busy periods in a calm and professional manner.

Demonstrated ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred :

Experience dealing with patients and / or emergency situation

Salary Range : $17.14-$18.75
