FinishLinePDS are currently seeking highly skilled Schematic Entry/Layout/Documentation Experts to collaborate with us as 1099 contractors. This is a freelance position with a flexible workload based on project requirements.
Are you an Electrical Engineering pro with a flair for schematic entry, layout, and meticulous documentation? If so, this opportunity is for you!
What You’ll DoProjects may include:

• Develop detailed and accurate schematics based on provided specifications or conceptual designs
• Design and optimize PCB layouts using industry-standard software
• Implement best practices for layout design, considering factors such as signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management
• Create comprehensive documentation including bill of materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and manufacturing specifications
• Generate design reports, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Schematic Entry/Layout/Documentation Expert in the electronics industry, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects
• Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad)
• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design principles, and PCB manufacturing processes
• Certification or training in PCB design tools
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., IPC standards)
• Ability to work on projects as needed and deliver high-quality results
• Ablility to work independently on tasks while collaborating effectively with our team
