Our employees are key to our success. The Maintenance Mechanic provides timely and cost effective maintenance services to the Distribution Center. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties: Replaces or repair belts, lacing, pin, motors, gearboxes, chains, air valves, rollers, line shafts, accumulators, photo eyes, etc. Reads and understands electrical blueprints and schematics. Assists in repairing and maintaining conveyors and sorter. Troubleshoots electrical and plumbing problems within DC. Assists other maintenance associates when possible. Maintains radio communication with leadership all times. Responds to all associates politely and in a timely manner. Provides proactive system response, not reactive responses. Additional duties and projects as required. Required Education And/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent and 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training in mechanical maintenance. Internal candidates with JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Computer And/or Technical Skills Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
