Partners for Diversity Internship, Public Relations
Location: Portland, OR
The Portland office of FINN Partners offers an annual summer internship program providing invaluable professional experience and skill development while fostering a more diverse community of future communicators in Oregon.
This paid internship covers all the basics a communications professional needs — from news writing to media and influencer research to client relationship management. Plus, interns are mentored by a team that works across industries, including consumer, health, tech, finance and more.
We’re Looking For a

• BIPOC student ready to kickstart their career in PR or marketing
• Junior or senior majoring in marketing, journalism or communications
• Creative, fast thinker who can handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong, persuasive writer with sharp attention to detail
• Student with demonstrated academic excellence (3.0 or higher current GPA) and a passion for communication in all its forms

Opportunities May Include

• Contribute to creative brainstorms and strategy development sessions
• Craft content for client campaigns, from media pitches and press releases to influencer briefs and social media posts
• Support events, press activations, strategic partnerships and influencer collaborations
• Lead client research and analysis projects
• Build media and influencer lists

• As our summer intern, you’ll work on-site in our office located in Portland, Oregon. Finally, the IRL experience you’ve been looking for!
• We are currently accepting applications for summer 2024. The selected intern will work up to 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, from late June through early September.
