Oversee, manage, develop, implement, and operate information systems

• Manage network operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions and develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans. Manage Virtual environments and the creation and removal of servers.
• Design, specify, configure, install, and maintain local area network hardware, software, centers, and VOIP services.
• Develop and implement policies/procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
• Plan, organize and implement conversions and upgrades for IT projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor management information systems policies and control to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance, such as HIPAA and CJIS.
• Develop and complete all documentation as needed; ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with others to improve cybersecurity and network efficiency.
• Serve as IT project manager, network administrator, VOIP administrator, security systems specialist, and data center technician; perform all duties required of those functions as needed.

Supervise personnel

• Oversees the supervision of IT personnel; makes decisions on hiring and termination, determines disciplinary action, trains/coaches, makes promotional recommendations, schedules, and assigns work, sets priority levels, and plans work.

Provide technical support and assistance to users including training

• Assist departments and committees to evaluate software and hardware.
• Install and trouble shoot installation of equipment and software for departments, load and test systems and software.
• Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security.
• Provide support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance and replacement/repair of software programs and hardware; ensure warranties are honored.
