Senior Analyst FP&A -Elmwood Park, NJ

This role will provide vital support for our FP&A functions, including developing internal reporting, financial modeling, business intelligence, and assisting in the preparation of the annual budget. • Workplace (On-site, Hybrid, Remote): On-site in Elmwood Park, NJ

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A, Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint beyond pivot tables and VLOOKUP statements.
• Knowledge of accounting and banking concepts and practices.
• Understanding of treasury finance concepts and financial modeling.

Description:

• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, and financial analysis through financial modeling for management. Assist in bank analyses and various business scenarios.
• Analyze trends and assess performance of business units, identifying opportunities or threats to future performance.
• Act as the point liaison for profitability reporting, manage cost accounting assumptions, and communicate results to business units.
• Develop insights about markets, products, and competitors, support opportunity evaluation, and monitor strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the annual budget process, facilitate budget vs actual meetings, and maintain financial models for strategic planning.
• Assist with ALM modeling, upload and reconcile data, model scenarios, and participate in liquidity monitoring.
• Develop new processes and analytical projects as required.
