As one of the largest vertically integrated developer-builder-owner-operators in the U.S., Post is a leader in both ground-up and adaptive reuse projects and has developed over $5bn of projects over the last 15 years and has an owned $2b pre-construction development pipeline of ~2,500 units in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

The Content Director supports the Vice President of Marketing in execution of content across owned, paid, and organic channels across the Post Brothers portfolio. Weʼre looking for a true creative with excellent creative writing and visual skills. As the leader of the creative team, our Content Director will conceptualize and help execute content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media. Thorough research will be required to understand each individual propertyʼs brand, unique products/services, and marketing goals. The role will be supported by a Content / Social Media Manager role.

Reports to: VP of Marketing

Wage Status: Exempt (Ineligible for overtime)

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute the unique brand voice and target audiences of each asset.
  • Dream up content for paid search, organic / paid social, video and display. Platforms include Meta, Google, Microso , TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Linkedin.
  • Concept and plan engaging email and social campaigns across the portfolio.
  • Directly manage Post Brothers social channels including potential executive accounts.
  • Provide verbiage for internal communications, signage, and B2B materials.
  • Develop original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, creating content that connects with the desired audience, creates an emotional connection and drives action.
  • Oversee influencer strategy with thoughtful curation of influencers to produce on brand content that aligns with property marketing goals and audiences.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing to oversee and execute video and photo productions to ensure the content meets the needs and goals of the properties.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload. ● Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelorʼs degree in marketing, journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years professional content development experience with a solid portfolio of work.
  • Exceptional writing and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. ● Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing promotional emails with a focus in high-end retail, hospitality, real estate or other relevant experiential industries.
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides.
  • Experience working with content management systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
  • Self-motivated, creative, confident and energetic personality.
