Job Description
Firespring is ISO an experienced and knowledgeable marketing and strategic professional to serve as a Marketing Strategist on our Account Services team. As a marketing strategist, you will lead the strategic marketing efforts for B2C and B2B brands across a variety of industries proactively working with our sales team to grow accounts and drive marketing strategy for our clients. Our marketing strategists have the unique skill set in understanding the connection between marketing, creative and analytics for different audiences and objectives. If that's you, you'll be responsible for developing innovative marketing strategies to help our clients reach their business goals. Be ready to use your in-depth knowledge of tactics for modern marketing, branding, positioning and ROI metrics.
In short, you'll understand the methodology that goes into seeing a problem, conceptualizing a solution and seeing that solution through to drive results for our clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for clients by collaborating with internal experts in creative, media, and digital experience.
  • Collaborate with the Account Services team and internal stakeholders to understand the needs of our clients and translate into strategic and intentional action that drive results.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of all relevant information between the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize primary and secondary research to inform strategic marketing plans.
  • Analyze and optimize new and existing marketing campaigns.
  • Develop written strategic plans that encompass all or some of the following:
    • Research (primary and/or secondary)
    • Audience Development
    • Data Analysis
    • Media Planning
    • Defining Marketing Goals
    • Brand Identity Development
    • Budget Recommendations
    • Presentation Development
  • Develop proposals and analyze accounts to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop creative briefs that communicate strategic objectives to internal team members to ensure projects are completed in alignment with strategy.
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with stated business goals.
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns to support client business goals.
  • Analyze sales and marketing metrics and present recommendations to decision makers.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g., online tools and social media).
  • Comfortable developing presentations and pitching new business in front of prospective clients.
  • Ability to facilitate focus groups and develop surveys for qualitative feedback on campaigns and projects.
  • Can work independently, taking initiative on various projects while simultaneously collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of web design and user experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience developing marketing strategies.
  • Experience leading a national-level creative account is a plus.
