Job CategoryProduction & Skilled Trades Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance Engineering work focuses on developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems/protocols including:
Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product quality risks
Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action
Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
**This role requires the candidate to be on site in Williamsburg, KY 5 days per week** ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an Quality Assurance Engineer like you to join our Williamsburg Manufacturing plant for Firestone Airide:
Works on problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals
Applies research towards the planning, design development, testing, and completion of projects
Impact is short-term, occasionally on medium-term goals
Continues building knowledge of organization and processes
May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
Compiling, reviewing, and submitting PPAP packages to customers
Developing, editing, and reviewing core tools on an annual basis
Champion/Subject matter expert for problem solving teams
