Position SummaryQuality Assurance Engineering work focuses on developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems/protocols including:
- Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
- Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product quality risks
- Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action
- Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
- Works on problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals
- Applies research towards the planning, design development, testing, and completion of projects
- Impact is short-term, occasionally on medium-term goals
- Continues building knowledge of organization and processes
- May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Management Representative for Plants IATF 16949 QMS.
- Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 QMS
- Developing IATF 16949 audit schedule and ensuring timely completion of audits.
